In a battle of old Pac-12 schools, No. 12 USC enters at 4-0, while No. 20 Oregon is 2-1. Saturday’s game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC, giving the Ducks a chance to extend their four-game winning streak in this series.

Oregon’s 84-0 win over Portland State was emphatic, but USC presents a different assignment. The Ducks head to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum against a Trojans offense that has scored in every quarter this season.

My final Oregon vs USC prediction uses Kalshi’s spread and total contracts. Below are the selections, current buy prices and the first-half versus second-half numbers that make this matchup worth a closer look.

I’m taking Oregon to win by at least a field goal. Dante Moore has thrown nine touchdown passes without an interception through three games. His ability to attack downfield without giving away possessions is a major reason I’m comfortable backing the Ducks on the road.

The Portland State result needs context. Oregon scored 65 points and allowed 66 across its first two games combined, before putting up 84 against an FCS opponent. I’m not treating one blowout as proof that every defensive issue has been solved.

USC’s own scoring pattern gives me a reason to lean Oregon. The Trojans have dominated first halves but have been almost even with opponents after the break. If the Ducks keep the early deficit manageable, I like their chances of producing the stronger finish.

At 57¢, the contract needs Oregon to win by three or more. A one- or two-point Ducks victory still loses. That distinction matters in a game with two capable quarterbacks, and I would not describe this as simply picking Oregon to win.
